Warehouse Associate Job at Buck Mason

Buck Mason The Colony, TX

We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate—someone to pack and ship orders, pronto. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with quick-draw skills in the barcode scanner department. Data entry is a big part of it, so is cycle counting and generating labels and handling dollies. We don’t have a forklift yet, but we’ll probably get one soon. Should be pretty sweet. Take a look at the qualifications below and reach out to us. Good luck!

Responsibilities

    • Pick and pack orders
    • Manage warehouse inventory by accurately counting, scanning, and updating the warehouse inventory system
    • Represent the brand and identify problems as they occur in the day to day Warehouse Associate responsibility
    • Ensure picking and packing details and expectations are met based on standard operating procedures
    • Keep the warehouse safe, organized and in working condition at all times
    • Be able to lift heavy boxes almost daily (50 pounds) - raw denim is not light
    • Think in solutions, not problems while demonstrating sense of urgency
    • Use bar code scanners, computers, data entry, and generate labels
    • Neatly fold clothes and insert into poly bags per standard operating procedures

Qualifications

    • Entrepreneurial attitude: must be willing to learn new ways of doing things
    • Incredibly organized
    • Experience in retail, picking/packing, and shipping is preferred, but not required
    • Experience working with USPS, DHL, Fedex and UPS is a plus
    • Able to clearly communicate day to day business needs
    • Passionate about the fashion industry
Buck Mason designs updated, modern American classics for daily wear. Founded in 2013 by Sasha Koehn and Erik Allen, who were neighbors in Venice, California, they initially set up shop in a 350 square foot garage off Abbot Kinney Boulevard. Using old school manufacturing techniques combined with modern technology, they took an architectural approach to product with the goal of making fashion less complicated, building each piece to last beyond a single season. Much of their product is made in the USA, where you can often find Sasha and Erik on the factory floor.
