Warehouse Associate to join our close-knit team on the
2nd Shift
(3:00PM to 11:30PM), located near I45-N and Beltway 8. The Warehouse Associate will verify, label, and process incoming garment shipments and ensure items and quantities are being shipped with 100% accuracy. The Warehouse Associate will also pick orders and replenish picking locations as needed, to help achieve our company goals. The 2nd shift team is looking for detail oriented and team players with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from parcel delivery trucks; Stage and sort shipments;
- Verify and inspect shipments as per Tyndale Receiving Guidelines;
- Record and properly complete internal and external paperwork;
- Label garments with barcodes as needed;
- Put away material following established put away procedures;
- Follow picking instructions from hand-held device;
- Pick correct garments for customer orders according to the hand-held device’s instructions; Enter quantity picked into scanner;
- Separate orders into groups or singles in preparation for shipping;
- Perform visual inspection verifying garments match items ordered on packing list, also checking for matching logos and hemming;
- Communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager/ Supervisor in a timely manner;
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required;
- Ability to Read and Function Hand Held Device;
- Prior experience in a warehouse operation and warehouse management system a plus;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs without assistance;
- Ability to operate material handling equipment preferred;
- Fork-lift certification strongly preferred.
