The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead the marketing team and play a critical role in our Go-to-Market organization. The value prop of this opportunity is three-fold:

1) Join a mid-market B2B software company that holds a leading position in its market and is poised for accelerated growth via GTM transformation

2) Work with an exec team that understands modern B2B marketing and views marketing as a true partner to sales

3) Join the portfolio of a leading private equity firm that provides accelerated learning and career progression opportunities for its go-to-market executives


Your role in our organization:

You will lead our marketing organization and execute against the team’s charter: 1) Generating qualified pipeline that convers to revenue and 2) Driving brand and category awareness. You will manage, coach, and develop a team that is organized around creating and capturing demand.


Demand Creation:

  • Executes against a repeatable thought leadership formula (e.g. Podcast, organic social, paid social)
  • Develops in person and virtual event strategy; executes against tradeshow schedule
  • Develops clear positioning and messaging for all products and product packages
  • Owns product platform messaging and value articulation
  • Partners with product management to launch new products to the market


Demand Capture:

  • Drives direct traffic conversions from “hand raisers” through the website
  • Manages and optimizes the website, including SEO optimization
  • Optimizes the buyer experience to improve conversions
  • Partners with other GTM teams (i.e. SDR, Sales, Channel) to launch targeted “GTM campaigns”
  • Executes paid search campaigns
  • Generates pipeline from review sites


Skills and Experience You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles of progressing scope and responsibility
  • Experience within technology or B2B software (highly preferred)
  • Experience owning a Marketing Originated Bookings number
  • Outstanding leadership skills - leads teams to deliver on ambitious business goals, inspires their best work, mentors and develops their careers and holds their team accountable
  • High-level thinker (strategic, creative, and analytical) who can also roll up their sleeves and get it done.
  • Highly accountable, with a track record of delivering business results.
  • Strong product marketing chops with the ability to succinctly craft the product platform story and corresponding value drivers
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication with a special knack for telling stories in a clear, intriguing and effective way
