The Video Production Specialist will support the Motorsports marketing team in the planning, creation, editing and distribution of video content. They must bring a creative outlook and show the ability to plan and execute video shoots.

The Video Production Specialist will support the Motorsports marketing team in the planning, creation, editing and distribution of video content. They must bring a creative outlook and show the ability to plan and execute video shoots based on product group direction as well as specific content requests from various Motorsports group activities/efforts.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand and capture/communicate Motorsport’s marketing messages via video production lifecycle: from scripting, staging, recording, editing, and overall production.
  • Hands-on oversight of studio and on-location film productions. Travel will be required for location shoots
  • Knowledge of Motorsport product features and benefits; ability to incorporate product messaging into video assets based on identified goals/objectives.
  • Collaborate with Motorsports copy resources to develop video scripts for multiple internal clients and product lines.
  • Work closely with Motorsports Marketing teams, as well as employees in other divisions and departments.
  • Assist in the coordination and distribution of video materials both internally (YMUS) and externally (affiliates/distributors worldwide).
  • Oversee the responsibilities of a Video Production Coordinator, whose core responsibilities will include, but not be limited to assisting in the organization and archiving of all video assets; production of Motorsports sales teams’ monthly video; and weekly social edits for Digital Marketing team
  • Support Parts & Accessories team content development (e.g., post-purchase unit accessory and consumable messaging and sales opportunities
  • Oversee and direct Facebook and YouTube livestream events, supporting Motorsport’s product releases and event coverage
  • Manage the Motorsports photo/video equipment inventory
  • The Video Production Specialist will have the flexibility to manage their own workflow and schedule projects, as well as coordinate projects for a Video Production Coordinator that will support the position. Project deliverables will need final approval from direct manager (National Advertising Manager) before final delivery to Motorsport employees, and or separate YMUS divisions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Film/Video Production, Marketing Communications or equivalent
  • Five years internet/broadcast/film production experience
  • Extensive knowledge of standard audio recording practices and cinema/broadcast cameras
  • Demonstrates pre/post-production and editing expertise
  • Must have been competent using post-production software (e.g., Premiere, Avid, Pro Tools, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Must be able to manage moderate to extensive travel requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, maintain attention to detail and recognize time constraints with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Experience with powersports products a plus
