Position Summary:

Vice President of E-Commerce

The vice president of e-commerce will oversee the formation of a new department within Blaze Media. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who has experience not only leading and building teams but inspiring teams as well. Further, the ideal candidate has seven years of e-commerce expertise and is proficient in building e-commerce funnels for optimizing retention and resales, creating and implementing a strategic plan, setting KPIs, forecasting quarterly sales, email marketing, search and website optimization, and working with our in-house, U.S.-based customer support team.

The VP of e-commerce will oversee operations of the department in addition to vendor management. The position reports to the president of Blaze Media and will work closely with our SVP of operations and director of marketing, as well as coordinate with Blaze hosts on merchandise. Strong preference for candidates based in the Dallas, Texas, area.

You work hard and have fun doing it. You have excellent language and communication skills and know a good design when you see one. You understand the modern political and cultural environment and can translate that understanding into successful products and designs. You can harness the brand of Blaze Media and display it through various merchandise categories and designs. You are your own worst critic. You are a self-starter. You maintain high quality in your work while meeting tight deadlines. Pressure drives you to excel. Nothing is impossible.

Education:

We don't care about your credentials. If you've got the right instincts, experience, or certifications for driving our e-commerce, we couldn't care less if you're a college graduate or not.
