Minimum qualifications:

  • 20 years of experience in business, manufacturing, logistics, and operations in technical environments, including experience in a infrastructure-related hardware manufacturing environment.
  • 15 years of experience in extended workforce manufacturing operations leadership role in high tech electronics.
  • Experience with executive engagement, stakeholder management, and working globally within organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in product lifecycle (e.g., product launches, product ramp, sustaining support, etc.).
  • Experience in a leadership role with the ability to build and manage high performing teams, developing relationships and managing internal stakeholders.

About the job

In this role, you will define the strategy and be accountable for the performance of technical infrastructure global manufacturing and logistics operations for all hardware systems. You will lead a global team of professionals across manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, materials management, warehouse operations, transportation, and fulfillment of servers, storage, and networking equipment that operates in Google data centers.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $550,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage all manufacturing and logistics operations supporting Technical Infrastructure’s servers, storage, and networking equipment deployed in our data centers.
  • Develop integrated strategy across OEM, ODM, JDM, CM manufacturing and third-party logistics to address the needs of forward and reverse supply chain.
  • Drive operational excellence in all functional areas including Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Forward and Reverse Logistics.
  • Build partnerships with global OEMs, EMS providers, and third-parties to support manufacturing and logistics strategies to support business needs and products.
  • Manage the global supply chain and partnerships, and comprehend cost trends, partnership models, geopolitics, risk and resilience, dynamics. Manage vendor performance and execution to agreements/forecasts across the global supply chain ecosystem.
