Veterinary Technician or Assistant Job at Garden Valley Veterinary Hospital
Garden Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our busy three doctor AAHA Accredited small animal veterinary hospital and boarding facility in Windsor. We are Fear Free Certified Professionals, a Cat Friendly Certified practice, and focus on giving each patient and client the best possible care.
We are looking for excellent technical skills including but not limited to:
Nursing care, triaging, catheter placement, blood draws, patient restraint, surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, and radiology.
Also, the right candidate will demonstrate emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and a sense of accountability. Effective communication, strong conflict resolution, and efficient time management skills are a must. Team members are expected to help maintain a positive, progressive, and fun working environment that is focused on providing excellent care especially during times of stress.
