Foothills Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant. This position will split time between Receptionist and Assistant, with the potential to move into a full-time Assistant position. Experience in both positions is ideal, but we are willing to train the right person. Hours will be 7:45 am-5:45 pm, must be able to work Fridays (weekends off).

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your role will be to greet clients, both face-to-face and on the phone. Strong phone skills and strong scheduling skills are required. You must have the ability to multi-task between things like checking in clients, checking out clients and taking payment, preparing charts, and maintaining medical records all while having a positive attitude!

As a Veterinary Assistant, responsibilities include venipuncture, catheter placement, lab sample collection, admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians, assisting doctors in exam rooms and assisting with surgical procedures/dentals.
