Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Job at Manorville Pet Vet
We are a close knit veterinary practice, where pets and clients come first. We take pride in our ability to work as a team to meet the needs of our patients as well as their family. Our staff must be mature, reliable, professional and organized. Excellent communication, attention to detail and the ability to follow up when needed, is a must in order to effectively serve our clients. It is very important to us that every client is greeted warmly and feels like part of the Manorville Pet Vet Family.
- Pay starting at $16/hr commensurate with experience
- Providing exceptional customer service and making sure all of our clients needs are met; including but not limited to answering heavy phone lines, scheduling appointments, filing, submitting insurance claims and filling medications.
- Making sure all public areas including the front reception area is presentable at all times.
- Able to handle cash, checks, and card transactions with honesty and integrity, in order to properly close out the register at the end of the night.
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with other staff members to accomplish all tasks required by clients and doctors.
- Provide assistance to Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians
- Provide patient restraint during procedures and examinations
- The current available position is Full Time Employment (30 - 40 hours a week) - weekends required.
- Experience:
- Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
