Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA accredited hospital, is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team. **MUST BE TRAINED IN SURGERY AND HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE**

Responsibilities include catheter placement, lab sample collection, admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians, assisting doctors in exam rooms, and assisting with surgical procedures/dentals. Required: proficiency in surgery anesthesia monitoring and preventative wellness care.

Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital is a Certified Feline Friendly hospital that sees canines, felines, pocket pets, and chickens. We are a very busy hospital with one doctor seeing rooms and one doing upwards of 8 surgeries a day. We are proud to have ultrasound, digital radiograph, digital dental x-ray, in-house labs, and a full surgery suite.
