Must have prior Behaviorial health experience and experience with VETERANS.

All remote but looking to fill the follow shifts:

8-4 EST

4-12 EST

8-4 PST

4-12 PST

  • Maintains open communication lines admissions and facility staff members. Initiates and maintains contact with prospective clients, family members and significant others, and referral sources; as assigned by supervisor.
  • Customer Service
  • Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the Substance Abuse Industry
  • Adheres to the facility ethics code.
  • Knowledge of DCF guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards relating to assessments and competencies.
  • Competency will include:
  • Suicide/Homicide assessment
  • Trauma – Abuse – Neglect
  • Mental Status assessment
  • Vital signs
  • UA testing
  • Evaluation for symptoms/risks of needing Detox – seizure risk
  • Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication & Written skills.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Client Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention
  • Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance
  • Coordinates preadmission process to include clinical screening, assessment with identification of demographic, financial information and release of information documentation.
  • Answers any questions potential patient may have that are of a non-clinical nature; appropriately refers patient and completes Refer Out form.
  • Integrate clinical and organizational skills and function on multi-disciplinary team.
  • Completes required tracking and documentation in Sales Force.
  • Coordinates and schedules prospective client admission upon approval.
  • Facilitates access to services within Banyan Treatment Centers continuum or external provider if needs cannot be met within Banyan’s services.
  • Seeks medical approval for prospective clients that report a medical condition, seeks clinical approval for prospective clients that report a psychiatric condition.
  • Manages inquiry process in a professional manner with objective.
  • Forwards financial coverage information to billing department; verifying insurance information as necessary.
  • Promotes a positive image of respective facilities in the community at large.
