We are currently recruiting for a full time Vendor Asset Analyst in our Technical Services department and will report to our Sherwood location.

Job Summary:To be responsible for the daily and long term strategic management of software and technology related vendors within the organization, tasks to include: risk assessments, due diligence and evidence collection, contract management, cost tracking, develop and implement quality control, vendor contract compliance, performance measurement across all vendor related projects/programs. The individual will also assist in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spending across the organization.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Tier and perform an annual risk assessment of vendor controls. Collect and review evidence (SOC, certifications, etc.). Identify findings and track until remediated. Issue a recommendation to the Vendor Business Owner based on the Residual Risk Tier assigned.
  • Manage vendor requests, service and support contracts, Issues and Vendor Performance reviews.
  • Manage Vendor relationships including performance, release notifications, service renewals, and feature requests to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to strategy of the Vendor Management Policy.
  • Ensure vendor responsibilities and commitments are met.
  • Track financial impacts of vendor relationships to ensure cost effective relationships and solutions are in place.
  • Manage financial penalties of poor performance by vendors if applicable.
  • Liaison for Vendor Business Owners and Legal for contract administration with new and existing vendors.
  • Assist Vendor Business Owners in the development of vendor metric tracking and accountability. Generate vendor scorecards using Performance Assessments.
  • Facilitate solutions for annual (at minimum) vendor performance reviews. Assist Vendor Business Owners collection of outage times, measurements against SLAs, ticket review, open item review, feature requests, release schedule, and roadmap review.
  • Develop Enterprise tool strategy for the organization to consolidate existing tools and procure new tools to meet the business needs of the organization in an efficient and economic manner.
  • Manage Third Party Risk platforms, perform ongoing monitoring, and inform Business Owners of financial health/stability and cybersecurity risks related to new and existing vendors.
  • Maintain reports/dashboards to summarize Vendor Management initiatives and progress.

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, five years of experience in an information technology organization with experience in a vendor management role in a technical team. Prior healthcare vendor management experience preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Strong problem solving and decision making skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated multidisciplinary communications skills across all levels of an organization. Ability and desire to engage with all functions of the Enterprise to understand and articulate the business requirements as well as the IT capabilities and requirements. General knowledge of all IT disciplines and technology platforms. Knowledge of standards and methodology of Project Management Professional (PMP). Working knowledge and use of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and standard IT processes and methodologies (i.e. ITIL, PMI, and SDLC). Strong experience in Vendor Management with five (5) years minimum experience in a Procurement focused role. Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering. Demonstrated ability in developing and deploying vendor management vision, goals and strategies; interpersonal skills across a large diversified audience; demonstrated ability in recognizing, analyzing and resolving highly complex issues; strong writing and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to act strategically and proactively.
