Jim Coleman Automotive is seeking a used car manager to manage all aspects of the Used Car Sales Department.

Position Overview

As Vehicle Acquisition Specialist you are the source for generating more inventory, with a better selection and ultimately helping the dealership sell more vehicles. No automotive experience necessary. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will utilize all available prospecting resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle. Resources include third party websites, 3rd party lead sources, service drive traffic and other means. This Associate will enjoy consistent interaction with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone. This role will primarily make cold contact with prospects who have their vehicle advertised for sale, both online and as walk-ins to the store. The auto industry is setting sales records again so come join the excitement and build your career.

• Direct outreach to customers via phone, email and text
• Speak With Existing Clients About Selling Us Their Cars
• Internet Savvy, Great Phone Skills, Appointment Setting Skills
• Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show

Vehicle Acquisition Specialist Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed.

• Strong background within the auto industry is required
• "ENERGETIC"
• Proven experience at building relationships and working in teams
• Tenacious yet professional follow up on customer inquiries
• Sales and financing of used cars in dealer inventory

• Lead management and assignment of used car inquiries

• Appraisal and reconditioning of used cars

• Wholesale and auction coordination of used vehicles

• Marketing to include vehicle descriptions, pricing via Vauto and Reynolds and Reynolds

• P&L responsibility of the used car department

• Coordination with service and new car departments as required to enable maximum organizational efficiency.

• Management of all personnel, processes, and client/vendor interactions as it relates to used car operations.
• Must have a Valid MD/DC/ VA Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
