Overview:
Signet Health, formerly Diamond Healthcare, is seeking a competent and reliable individual with a good driving record for the part time position of Mental Health Technician/Van Driver for the program at Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, TX. This 15 hour position will have direct responsibility for transporting patients to and from the Program for specific times.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- Must have and maintain a current and valid driving license.
- Driving record must meet requirements for insurance coverage for Diamond Healthcare.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of and utilizes guest relations principles in all interactions with patients, co-workers, and referral sources.
- Exhibits and utilizes warmth and empathy in all interactions.
- Position requires mental alertness.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills, as duties may include giving and receiving of information, verbally, in writing and by telephone.
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships with patients, facility staff and medical staff.
