Valor Health Pediatrician Job at Full Circle Health

Full Circle Health Boise, ID 83704

Full Circle Health (formerly known as the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho) has partnered with Valor Health to enhance pediatric care to the residents of Gem County, Idaho.

Employed by Valor Health, this position will involve management & care of children with complex medical needs, as well as being a consultant and pediatric resource for the organization's five employed family physicians, two advanced practice providers as well as other independent physicians in the community. The work will be in an integrative clinic model, focusing on patient centered team-based care. Most of the pediatric primary and urgent care will be performed by the family medicine physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. The more complex pediatric patients will be either managed in conjunction with the family physicians or be managed solely by the pediatrician with consultation if necessary, from pediatric subspecialists in the nearby Boise metro area. This model is being used to be able to extend the care and complexity of pediatric care provided and delivered to our rural community and to serve as a model for other rural communities.

This position will provide an outlet for teaching as it involves a Faculty position teaching and mentoring pediatric and family medicine residents from the Pediatric Residency of Idaho & Full Circle Health. The goal is to develop a model of integrative medicine between Pediatricians and Family Physicians to help improve children’s health in rural communities in Idaho and surrounding western states.
