To do all aspects of clean up inside and outside Mill. May be required to use shovel, air hose, and rake.

1. Clean up mill floor while the mill is running, using brooms, shovels and wheelbarrows.

2. Clean up accessible wood debris, run through the chipper using axes and chain saws.

3. Clean up sawmill equipment when the mill shuts down using proper lock out/tag out and fall protection procedures.

4. Perform basic math skills such as counting, addition and multiplication for tally sheets.

5. Ability to constantly bend and twist body.

6. Ability to constantly reach with arms and use hands to maneuver material.

7. Ability to stand continuously on asphalt/concrete.

8. Ability to work respectfully with others.

9. Keep work areas clean and follow all safety guidelines.

10. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Work Environment/PPE/Physical & Mental Demands/Skills:

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work is performed on a variety of flooring surfaces such as: cement, asphalt, wood and expanded metal.
• Worker is subject to climb several flights of expanded metal stairs several times per day, going from the bottom, to the mill floor and to other areas in the mill.
• Some work is performed under cover with ambient temperatures
• Some work is performed outdoors on a covered and elevated catwalk (approx. 4 feet)

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-year mill manufacturing or experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Must be able to work day and/ or night shift hours with O.T. as needed.
• Must be willing to work on some weekends.
