URBAN PLANNER - Irvine

Seeking an organized self-motivated Urban Planner to join the TCA team. This position will work out of TCA's brand new office located in Irvine, CA. The Urban Planner will work directly with the Studio Director on projects from start to finish. They will play a role in contributing to all phases of urban design projects including research, analysis, and conceptual development. This position will collaborate with TCA's team of multi-disciplinary experts to develop land plans, conceptual site studies and master plans.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the studio director on projects from start to finish. Play a role in contributing to all phases of urban design projects including research, analysis, and conceptual development
• Collaborate with TCA's team of multi-disciplinary experts to develop land plans, conceptual site studies and master plans.
• Duties will generally include:

• preparing graphics and diagrams (by hand and on computer)
• conducting historical, precedent, and zoning/code research
• conducting architectural design, site layout, and massing studies
• creating 3D models, renderings, and photo-simulations
• preparing presentations and exhibit

Qualifications:

• Recent graduates with up to 2 years of experience.
• Revit and Photoshop
• Applicants should be proficient in using the following software - AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop /InDesign and Microsoft Office.

• Team Player

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in urban design/planning or landscape architecture - Position is for a planning professional
  

Position Location:

The Urban Planner will be located in our Irvine office. We offer a hybrid schedule of up to 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.
