Upholstery Job at Condustrial Inc
Apply Fabric to furniture frames using hand and power tools, gluing, stapling.
Frequent need to give concentrated attention, with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing.
Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, humidity and materials which can cause periods of discomfort.
Demonstrate the ability to work with high-grade leather materials from blueprints, drawings and other illustrations or written work instructions.
Fabricate, repair, modify, and refurbish bus seats, and associated components.
Plan, prepare and cut materials to standardized patterns for stitching and fitting to customer and engineered requirements.
Occasional direct and indirect pressure to meet deadlines, production quotas, accuracy, or similar demands.
Requirements:
Experience in the manufacturer field is preferable.
High school diploma and/or completion of College/CEGEP/technical training in a related field.
Extensive, practical industrial upholstery experience, ideally working with seating and leather material.
Must be able to lift 40 plus pounds unassisted and stand for long periods of time.
Must have good references, reliable transportation.
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and a criminal background check.
