GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Unbranded Sales Representative will coordinate all activities related to unbranded sales to 3rd parties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sign up new unbranded customers through cold call, advertising, and referrals.
2. Must be able to negotiate with customers to achieve best in class contracts and performance.
3. Responsible for ensuring that unbranded supply contract obligations are fulfilled.
4. Monitor and maintain unbranded customer accounts:
5. Proactively monitor supply situations and work with Pricing, Schedulers, and suppliers to minimize the impact of supply disruptions.
6. Maintain reliable contacts within the petroleum industry and build lasting relationships with customers to develop future growth.
7. On a limited basis, should have the ability to negotiate contracts pertaining to procuring petroleum products in several geographical markets.
8. Travel sales territory to visit customers, terminal, and attend industry events.
9. Identify process improvements.
10. Provide transparency on success, failure, and performance of unbranded sales.
11. Understand all pricing mechanisms including but not limited to OPIS, Platts, NYMEX, and formula-based pricing models.
12. Effectively communicate with internal departments, field operations, and customers.
13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

6. Maintain reliable contacts within the petroleum industry and build lasting relationships with customers to develop future growth.
