POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and interpretation by a Radiologist. Assist physician with invasive procedures. Perform bedside examinations and procedures when indicated. Work in a sterile surgery room when an operative ultrasound exam is requested. Transport patients when necessary. Cover weekday, weekend and holiday call coverage on a rotating schedule. Overtime and shift rotation may be required. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: As established by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to obtain RDMS status.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a RDMS in an acute care facility is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), a minimum of 1 specialty Abdomen or OB/GYN required. Current BLS certification
