The Tube Park Crewmemberoften introduces many of our guests to the mountain. Some of our guests have young children that aren't yet ready to ski or ride, are new to the snow entirely, or are looking for a relaxing environment to enjoy the snow. This individual is responsible for creating a safe and exciting experience that is inclusive to everyone.

Requirements:

This individual and fellow team members coordinate tubing operations including checking tickets, operating the conveyor belt, and conducting tubing starts and swift exit after each ride. Tubing sessions are one and a half hours in length, giving the opportunity to interact with our guests on a personal and professional level. With that said, no task is too small as working on Donner Summit means we all pick up a shovel, bump chairs, and pitch in all aspects of resort operations no matter our title or pay grade.

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as aTube Park Operator:

  • Provides a high level of service to our guests.
  • Understands and operates in compliance with department training and safety requirements.
  • Tests lanes for quality control regularly.
  • Proactively anticipates changing conditions and communicates in a timely manner with leadership.
  • Maintains tubing lanes and guest areas with hand tools, especially during changing conditions.
  • Sets up and tears down area daily, including equipment inspection.
  • Attends and contributes to daily operations meetings to gather information on upcoming events and operational changes

  • Able to stand outside in all weather for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
