Truck Driver Training Instructor (Part-Time) Job at Rend Lake College
Rend Lake College seeks part-time TRUCK DRIVER TRAINING INSTRUCTORS to provide both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel instruction to students in the Truck Driver Training program at Rend Lake College. Part-time, nontenure track position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Illinois Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Minimum three years of truck driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no drug/alcohol-related traffic violations.
- High school diploma or GED required, Associate Degree preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of trucking laws and safety procedures.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred.
- Current DOT medical card required.
- Subject to a criminal background check by the Illinois Secretary of State and successful completion of Illinois Secretary of State examinations.
- Successful completion of DOT physical and drug screenings with RLC chosen physician. Also subject to random drug/alcohol testing as required by DOT.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Part Time
- Wage: $33 per hour for daytime instruction and $35 per hour for nights and weekends
- Free tuition for employee after four semesters
