Truck and Trailer Service Tech-Mechanic Job at JR Contracting
JR Contracting Bentleyville, PA 15314
Heavy Equipment Mechanic with knowledge in, heavy truck and trailer and light and medium duty vehicles, general heavy equipment.
Shop Mechanic and occasional field repairs will perform various repairs including , engine, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- State and Federal Inspections
- Trailer Inspections
- Diagnose and repair equipment with little or no supervision
- Equipment repairs
- Diesel engine repairs
- Preventative maintenance
- Tire and brake repairs
- Submit PM and Inspection reports
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Must own proper tools for the job
Qualifications and Skills
1+ years of practical mechanical experience preferred
Proficiency with scan tools is preferred
Valid Driver's License
Class A CDL preferred but not necessary
Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
A pre-employment drug test and background check will be required
Class 7 Inspection License preferred
