We have an immediate opening for an experienced Trimcapper

Essential job functions are:

• Ability to interpret blueprints, assembly prints.
• Lays out design, retraces patterns (if needed), cuts Plex, installs retainer clips and trim cap
• Assemble and install electrical, LED and other signage components.
• Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
• Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and wrenches.
• Perform and monitor functional tests, following procedures and design requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on cranes and tools used in assembly.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior manufacturing experience required
• Prior experience using hand or power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Work with and operate over head cranes as needed
• Read, write and speak English

Physical Requirements

• May have to work with or around electrical equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• May be required to stand for 80 % of the work schedule
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.

Shifts:

• 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
