AAA Club Alliance has an exciting new opportunity for a Travel Products Specialist to join the team!

This will be a hybrid opportunity, but you mus t be located near the Wilmington, DE or Cincinnati, OH office locations to be considered for the position.

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM EST.

The Primary duties of the Travel Products Specialist include:

  • Fulfill member direct orders for web based sales.

  • Provide member support for online orders via email, phone, online chat and web inquiries.

  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of inventory for the online store within point of sale, platform and warehouse.

  • Support adding new products to aaa.com for effective presentation to increase online sales.

  • Partner with 3rd party warehouse to ensure all orders are picked, packed and shipped on time while monitoring error rate to guarantee member satisfaction.

  • Complete returns and chargebacks for online sales.

  • Ensure timely and adequate product distribution to retail offices.

  • Process and fulfill retail office and member direct Internet orders for all travel products and complete related end of day reconciliation processes.

  • Provide support to retail offices and call centers for order fulfillment, member inquiries, and problem resolution.

  • Performs audits to ensure all inventory control measures are met for inventory levels both in offsite and onsite facilities.

  • Assist retail offices by monitoring required inventory recalls, interpreting inventory policies, and completing necessary follow up on department directives as needed.

  • Complete payment reconciliation process for all SMP accounts by preparing account summaries and providing support documentation to vendors. Prepare accounting spreadsheets that document merchandise vendor payments to balance against the appropriate general ledger inventory accounts.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate tracking for onsite and offsite inventory by verifying product shipments against vendor documentation. Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory receipts, returns and payments for ongoing account analysis and discrepancy resolution.

  • Review all open reconciliation items with department management to ensure accurate data in all SMP inventory, revenue and COGS accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with additional college course work or equivalent experience.

  • 2 – 4 years of work experience in a business environment preferably in a field related to merchandise and/or product distribution.

  • Ability to collect, organize and analyze data using applications in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and Access.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines for various tasks.
