Travel PA/NP

Garden OB/GYN is a large medical practice dedicated to providing high quality patient care.

We are looking for a responsible Travel Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support the doctors’ work and actively facilitate patients’ recovery among our various locations across Manhattan, Queens and Long Island but primarily across Long Island. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.

Full-time and Part-time positions available Monday-Saturday with morning and evening hours. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work in offices offering comprehensive OB/GYN care. All offices are equipped with the most advanced cutting edge ultrasound technology allowing for real time assessment of patients, and an advanced state of the art EMR system specifically designed for OB/GYN. Candidates are expected to provide excellent patient care, demonstrate proper bedside manner, and have the ability to build a great rapport with patients.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfill them as well as possible
• Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
• Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
• Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
• Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events
• Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections etc)
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
• Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Team player with good communication skills
• Performs OB/GYN examinations
• Must licensed or eligible to be licensed
