Transportation and Supplies Coordinator Job at Threshold Enterprises LTD
Summary of Job Duties: Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating transportation activities related to distribution operations for the Santa Cruz DC. Oversight of dispatching, routing and tracking of inbound and outbound deliveries including warehouse transfers.
Specific Job Duties:
1. Point of contact for transportation related activities.
2. Obtain quotes from carriers for outbound deliveries.
3. Schedule inbound & outbound deliveries with common carriers.
4. Schedule internal warehouse transfer deliveries between company warehouses.
5. Monitor and track deliveries in route.
6. Provide routine updates to various departments on ETA’s.
7. Periodically review carrier performance, cost, service level, etc.
8. Track freight cost by carrier.
9. Research carrier delivery issues, claims, pickups, returns, etc.
10. Maintain daily reporting.
11. Order warehouse and shipping supplies.
12. Perform all other duties as assigned by Threshold management.
13. Load Trailers
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1. 3+ years of experience in transportation, warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
2. Competent in Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
