A Training Technician executes the following duties:
  • Gathers information needed by customer to develop initial and follow-on curricula. This can include participating in working groups as needed to address necessary subject matter.
  • Develops training material, organizes schedules, and provides logistical support for training. Conducts training and maintains training records.
  • Regularly reviews and updates existing training to ensure policy, regulatory, legal, and system changes are included in the training curricula.
  • Publishes periodic training and information advisories.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

NOTE: Applicants with an Active TS Clearance preferred

A Training Technician must meet the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Three years demonstrated ability in coordinating and managing training programs
  • Ability to grasp and understand the organization and functions of the customer
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills; oral and written
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications and databases, intermediate skills preferred
  • Proven commitment and competence to provide excellent customer service; positive and flexible
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition
In this position, the following experience is strongly preferred:
  • Experience serving as a Content Administrator for various SharePoint sites on the FBI's Intranet. Familiar with creating and daily maintenance of a SharePoint site and 10+ sub sites
  • Experience supporting the Bureau's Intranet Migration Adjustment Team (IMAT)
  • Experience coordinating and overseeing IB Speaker Series events, hosted by Senior National Intelligence Officers (SNIOs)
  • Experience maintaining the Executive Product Integration Calendar (EPIC) with IC events, WH meetings, events on The Hill and the Director's travel
  • Experience coordinating and tracking all internal and external taskings that are assigned to the senior level management and SNIO's Bureau wide
  • Experience in tracking all priority initiatives assigned to SNIO's and senior level management
  • Experience acquiring and compiling SNIO's weekly external and internal updates which are included in the EAD's weekly updates, the DNI's weekly updates and the DD Weekend book
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation. An Active Top Secret Clearance is strongly preferred.

** NOTE: The 20% pay differential is dependent upon the customer's order for services and requires an Active Top-Secret security clearance.
