Job Responsibility (Supervisor/Trailer Mechanic):

• Supervise maintenance crew
• Build a skilled and efficient maintenance team
• Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs startup activities within a discipline for the assigned project(s)
• Compiling inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management
• Supervise work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with Method Statements and Work Instructions from the Manager
• Strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results through teams
• Perform quality control checks on completed repairs
• Maintain a clean shop daily
• Performing PM’s & Federal inspections on Dry van trailers
• Diagnosing & repairing electrical issues (trailer lights).
• Brake Jobs & Wheel Seals
• Sheet metal work on dry van trailers (roof patches, Panel patches)
• Diagnosing & repairing ABS Issues.
• Welding & torching (Steel, aluminum & Stainless Steel)
• Body Work (Side Rails, Panels, Roof, Top Rails)
• Overhead/Roll up door repair.
• PM Yard Trucks
• Review work order for accuracy and billing
• Manage 8 mechanics on 3 shifts

1. Tool Box: 3 Drawer or Larger Top Chest with Bottom Box
2. Socket Sets: 1/4” Drive Socket Set, 3/8” Drive Socket Set,1/2” Drive Socket Set
3. Pliers, Screwdrivers, Hammers, Punches, Flashlight
4. Pneumatic Tools: Drill, Air Hammer, Air Riveter 1/4"
5. Two years Experience.
