Tow Truck Driver Job at Plaza Auto Mall
- Job Summary**
Our company is looking for an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. You must have a commercial driver’s license (CDL). A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck and dolles is a plus. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled motorists with services such as changing their tires or transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infraction. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
- Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route
- Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage
- Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
- Keep your truck clean and in good condition
- Remove illegally parked vehicles
- Requirements and Qualifications
- A commercial driver’s license and DCA Tow Truck License
- At least 1 years of commercial driving experience
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Attention to detail when documenting work
- Physical strength and stamina
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,400.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission pay
