Mold Preventive Maintenance

Candidates will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of the molds. Removal of slides, strippers, stripper plates and taking apart for maintenance and/or repair. Clean and assemble grease area as needed. Able to identify or detect problems in weak areas of tools. Should have basic machine shop experience at a minimum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

· Follow the schedule of molds to be cleaned.

· Remove slides, strippers, stripper plates and take apart for cleaning.

· Clean and assemble grease area as needed

· Able to see or detect problems in weak area of molds.

· Variable work schedule and overtime may be required.

· Must be able to meet the attendance requirement for the position

· Participate as a team player

· Ability to operate overhead crane.

Occupational and/or Physical Requirements

Understanding of paperwork procedures and documentation requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
• Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery (continental)
• Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
• Ability to navigate and utilize SAP system

$15.00-$25.00 based on experience
