Tool Crib Attendant

Once in operation, this location combined with the existing plant will produce more than 1 billion square feet of gypsum products each year! What You Will Do In Your Role

This position is responsible for keeping the crib area secure. They will assist with use of tools in crib ensuring the tools are signed for and returned properly. They will receive all parts and materials, as well load and unload materials and equipment to deliver to remote sites by truck and trailer. In addition to this, the Tool Crib Attendant will ensure proper handling, sorting and preparation of required tools and locate or report lost tools and equipment and ensure work instructions and proper safe work procedures are followed. They will maintain a clean and safe work area including general housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Receive all parts and materials as required.
• Assist with the use of tools in the crib and ensure the tools are properly signed for and returned as they are used.
• Load and unload of materials and equipment and deliver to remote work sites via truck and trailer.
• Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.
• Responsible for always keeping the crib area secure.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Ensuring the proper handling, sorting and preparation of tools for work
• Locate/Report lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Ensure all tools are returned at the end of the day.
• Perform general housekeeping and daily clean-up of work area.
• Dedicated team player.
• Assist with parts room as needed.
• Assist with WO entries as needed.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

The Experience You Will Bring

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task, with experience responding to changing deadlines/priorities.
• Previous work experience in maintenance planning.
• Previous work experience in parts storeroom.
