The Center for Women and Families – Therapist/Project Manager

The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We help our clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy. Our goal is to mitigate the impact of their trauma by reducing their risk factors and building their resiliency. We serve anyone in Jefferson, Bullitt, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Henry, and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Indiana.

The Therapist/Project Manager provides leadership support for the oversight and implementation of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant, as well as uses evidence-based therapeutic interventions to provide ongoing individual and group therapy to residential clients who have experienced domestic violence/sexual assault.

This position is scheduled for Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, with one evening per week per the program's needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project partners to conduct assessments, implement screening tools, and follow treatment protocols.
  • Co-facilitate project management meetings to ensure project benchmarks are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with grants management, community project partners, PIRE, and the Director of Grants.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Data and Performance Analysis to integrate project data collection tools into the client database.
  • Develop and cultivate community partners to establish referral networks and protocols.
  • Supervise project advocates and contractors.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for residential clients, including maintaining case records, therapeutic notes, and treatment plans.
  • Provide expert consultation to CWF staff on screening and responding to clients.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field, with at least 3-5 years of as a practicing therapist.
  • Independently licensed to practice a mental health discipline under Kentucky laws (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, etc.)
  • Evidence of leadership in project management.
  • Experience working with trauma and dual diagnosis.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets CWF automobile insurance requirements.
  • Fluency in languages other than English are a plus.

The Center requires the basic round of COVID vaccinations and highly recommends boosters. The Center also requires all employees to wear a mask and maintain a distance of 6 feet while working.
