The Department of Communication Studies in the School of Communication at Emerson College seeks a term faculty member (full-time, renewable, non-tenure track) in the area of Digital Storytelling to join the department at the Boston campus. Teaching will involve courses in Digital Storytelling and may include courses in Podcasting, Streaming and Multimedia as they apply to the Department's majors: Communication Studies, Political Communication, Sports Communication, and Public Relations and our minors (see below). The appointment begins August 24, 2023 with a mandatory 2-day orientation August 24 & 25, 2023.

A masters degree or executive certificate in communication or a related field (per majors and minors listed) is required, as is demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching of communication courses. The Department offers minors in Podcasting, Radio & Streaming Media; Leadership and Management; Political Communication; Sports Communication; Nonprofit Communication Management; Public Diplomacy; Esports; and Pre-Law, as well as a Master's degrees in Public Relations, Sports Communication, and Political Communication.
