(Temp) Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Utilization Management *Partially Remote* Job at Apollo Medical Holdings
ApolloMed is looking for a Customer Service TEMP Rep - Healthcare UM. This position will work partially at our Monterey Park location at 1600 Corporate Center Drive. Outside of that, you will also have the ability to work from home! This position will typically work M-F from 8:30am to 5pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following:
- Perform outbound calls to members and providers for oral notification of approval authorization. Manually fax approval letters to providers.
- Answer incoming calls from our customers to include but not limited to: members, providers, health plans, insurance brokers, and hospitals in accordance to HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain at least an average minimum of 60 calls per day, an average handle time of no more than 7 minutes, an average quality score of higher than 3 (out of 4), and an average wait time of 7 minutes or less
- Participate in company meetings and trainings as needed
- Assist with any concerns related to authorizations in a timely fashion and accurately document, which includes but is not limited to: educating providers and members about TAT and other business policies, modifying authorizations as needed, and communicating with providers and members about the outcome
- Perform other duties, projects and actions as assigned

REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED- Experience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working in customer service
- Experience working in a healthcare system and settings
