The Telehealth Therapist position would interact with the treatment team and provide a variety of patient care activities. They will be responsible for patient caseload, providing group, individual, and family therapy, and conducting bio-psychosocial assessments. They collaborate with the treatment team to formulate the master treatment plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning while functioning under the guidance of their licensure, registration and/or certification and in accordance with the regulations, rules, and requirements of State and Federal government and accrediting organizations.

Schedule: Sunday to Saturday 5PM-11PM

Location: Telehealth/Remote - Must reside in State of Florida

Job Duties:

• Assess Clients for stabilization as requested
• Remain in contact with on-call administration if clinically indicated
• Formulate a comprehensive plan with client that effectively addresses concerns
• Accurately document about the clients mental status and plan
• Develop a therapeutic alliance with clients, elicit respect and adapt to different types of clients
• When active and valid releases of information exist, use family and other support people to help support the client with making positive choices for their goals and recovery.
• Ensure that documentation is timely, clinically relevant, consistent, clear, and articulate.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Healthcare related major, required.
• Three to Five Years of work experience in substance use disorder and/ or mental health field, preferred.
• LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC, IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA REQUIRED.
• Experience with KIPU EMR preferred.

Abilities/Competencies:

• Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
• Adheres to: Healthcare Code of Ethics
• Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards
• Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding: Client Confidentiality, Drug-Free Workplace, and Corporate Integrity & Compliance
• Demonstrate Competencies in assessing:, Mental Health, Trauma – Abuse – Neglect – Exploitation, Suicide - Homicide
