Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is to install/pick-up telemonitor equipment in patient homes. Managing and organizing the telemonitor inventory.


Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Graduate (College Preferred)
  • Experience: One-year general office experience.
  • Skill: Computer skills preferred, excellent interpersonal and organizational skill. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
  • Travel to: Rockwall, Rowlett, Wylie, Fate, Royce City, Kaufman, Terrell, McKinney, Kemp, Seagoville, Lewisville, Carrollton, etc.

Environmental and Working Conditions:

Works in a routine office environment as well as in patients’ homes in various conditions, possible exposure to blood, body fluids and infectious diseases in patients’ homes. Noise level may be moderately high, the ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours. The ability to travel locally and some exposure to inclement weather. Possible exposure to toxic materials, toner, etc.

Physical and Mental Effort:

Prolonged standing and walking required. Ability to lifted-up to 50 pounds and move equipment. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines, to make quick decisions and meet patient/caregiver needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Requires problem solving skills.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages and oversees unit inventory, including reports, shipping logistics, cleaning and disinfecting units.

  • Coordinates with case managers and other clinical team members to identify patients who would benefit from telehealth units

  • Contacts potential telemonitor patients via phone to schedule install timely.

  • Installs and troubleshoots telemonitor units in patient's homes throughout agency service area.

  • Participates in weekly case conference and prepares reports for coordination of care.

  • Participates in in-service training programs.

  • Complies with state regulations and national standards.

  • Follow established telehealth policy.
