The ICG Documents Technology group is expanding its team to help Citi simplify and standardize the way the bank manages documents through automating critical processes and digitizing documents using Artificial Intelligence machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (classification, extraction, etc.). Documents Technology is part of the Innovation Lab at Citi Information Services Group (ISG). The team is looking for an experienced Technology Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs involving document management and processing and utilizing innovative technology solutions, working closely with project managers, engineering teams and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. They will also be responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members, as well as third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on senior management. The candidate will be seen as an ambassador for Documents Technology across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT programs covering multiple projects in both agile and waterfall environments and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Work closely with internal and external teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Develop and manage plans, including scope, timelines, RAID log, milestones, and budgets.

  • Identify and manage risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the program lifecycle with particular focus on senior stakeholder management

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans, status reports, and other project-related materials.

  • Coordinates the plans and RAID logs across the support projects and identifies synergies across the projects that will lead to program success

  • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure effective collaboration between team members.

  • Capable of working in a direct and matrix organization, driving collaboration across businesses and IT functions


Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in IT program or project management, including experience with both agile and waterfall projects and preferably within financial institutions or related industry

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage dependencies between teams and manage risks and issues.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA.

  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and distributed teams is a plus

  • PMP or PRINCE2 / Agile Certification - Scrum Master is a plus

  • Demonstrable track record of delivery of technical projects

  • Excellent communication skills– oral, written, presentation skills.

  • Ability to explain complex requirements in simple words.

  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry

  • Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones

  • Good team player and works collaboratively

  • Experience of relevant financial background of capital markets or regulatory background


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred
