Responsibilities:

Technology Analyst

Every year, Synoptek selects 6-10 recent college graduates who pressed in and appreciated the experiences that college and extracurriculars offered. We’re looking for the life-long-students that intend to keep learning, keep growing and continue soaking up the experiences this program has to offer, as a first-year professional.


This program is unique because you’ll have opportunities to work with leaders across the business. You’ll have a mentor. You’ll have a career trajectory. You’ll have space to learn about the business, then time to consult for the business. We want fresh eyes, new thoughts, and an opportunity to train Synoptek’s future leaders.


In DiscoverIT you will find the chance to build professional experience in areas like: business operations, IT consulting, sales, application development, product management, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, business intelligence, data analytics, app management and more.


What to expect, if selected for this program:

  • A Mentorship Program: Six-month partnership with a Synoptek executive team member focused around our Core DNA: clarity, ownership, results, growth and team.
  • Synoptek Training: One-week intensive training that provides employees a better insight into our business, how our various teams work and how each of us fits into the grand scheme of things. This course is designed to provide hands on experience in all areas of Synoptek by working through case studies, roundtable discussion and lecture activities.
  • In-Depth Training: ITIL- In-depth training to become ITIL certified, Power of Partnership- Learning professionalism and collaboration on a deeper level, Azure/AWS - Develop your cloud skills by attending Microsoft Azure training
  • Team Assignments The opportunity to work with an assigned team and Synoptek’s client base.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate (a graduation date no earlier than December 2022, and no later than May 2023)
  • Course emphasis in technology, consulting, business/entrepreneurship, or program management
  • Completed a minimum of 1 internship
  • A track record of participation in multiple extracurricular activities and/or leadership experiences
  • Must be a self-starter who is eager to learn and grow
  • Multiple interests, passions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desire to work in the IT industry
  • Flexible with changing priorities and able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Willingness to seek an answer when it’s not readily available
  • An interest in business and a desire to understand the general concepts that make a business successful

The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and the California Pay Transparency Act. This applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado or in California. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado and California applicants for this role is $70,000– $78,000 for CO and $71,000– $80,000 for CA. Based on eligibility, compensation for the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance, and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location
