About Our Career Opportunity

Summit Diagnostic at Cedar Bluff
a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a Technologist Assistant to join their practice. This is a PRN opportunity with flexible hours Monday-Friday.

Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned):
  • Maintain schedules at multiple locations.
  • Request, track and import outside images and reports from multiple regional facilities.
  • Task provider’s office on issues related to scheduled appointments.
  • Send needed exams via DICOM push or disc to requesting non-Summit facilities.
  • Perform duties in a professional manner while displaying excellent customer service and ability to work well with others.
  • Helps schedule follow up appointments and biopsies within Summit and outside facilities.
  • Communicates promptly and effectively with Supervisor, especially re: work schedule.
  • Assist Technologist with patient screening, preparation for exam and follow up instructions.
  • Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Maintains strictest confidentially both internally and externally.
  • Adheres to the corporate compliance plan and policies.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Qualifications:


Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required


Experience

One year of medical office / clinical experience with patient care preferred.
