Job Description

Key responsibilities of this role include: • Daily chart reconciliation of all chart types • Processing all paper records through CPDI to ensure timely filing into the EMR • Assisting in completing daily queues • Analyzing medical records for completeness and assigning appropriate deficiencies on incomplete accounts • Performing verification of ADM/OBS orders Key qualifications to be considered for this include: • High school diploma or equivalent required • 0-2 years of related experience required • Strong communication skills required • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • High level of work quality • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work • Ability to work individually and still be a team player • Familiarity with state HIM regulations

Health Information Management (HIM) Technician (Non-Certified)

Do you have an interest in health information management? If so, consider joining our team as a Health Information Management (HIM) Technician working part-time days.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Daily chart reconciliation of all chart types
  • Processing all paper records through prep, scan, quality control, and validation to ensure timely filing into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Assisting in completing daily scan reconciliation, ESI Log, and cer batch
  • Analyzing medical records for completeness and assigning appropriate deficiencies on incomplete accounts
  • Performing verification of ADM/OBS orders

Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of related experience required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of work quality
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize work
  • Ability to work individually and still be a team player
  • Familiarity with state HIM regulations
