Reporting to the Manager, SAP Projects and Support, your role as Sr. Functional Analyst – SAP BW will be to support BW module in broad range of responsibilities to satisfy the role depending on the scope of the BW requirement, the complexity and quality of the data.

Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities:*

• Work closely with the business users for business requirements gathering and analysis.
• Designing the data access solution to include:

• Understanding the data that is required in BW in business terms.
• Identifying the way end users want to analyze the data in BW.
• Designing the data access solution to satisfy defined business requirements.

• Understand BW development framework, application architecture and technical architecture to create solutions that fit in to the overall system landscape.
• Understand BW Security authorizations and/or structural authorization.
• Perform upgrades, design, and configure enhancements, perform testing for system changes, deliver training, as well as provide technical level 1 and 2 support for the applications within the team’s responsibility.
• Look for and offer opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and simplify existing solutions.
• Participate in integration and standardization projects to implement and support common solutions that further established IT and business strategies.
• Ability and willingness to train team members and business users.

Key *Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP BW
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW 7.5; SAP BW4HANA is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bex 7.7 Analysis and Designer, Analysis for office is a nice to have
• ABAP Knowledge required, able to write complex routines.
• Hand on experience to build data flow from info-object to multi-provider, open Hub and APD.
• Demonstrate thoroughness and integrity, customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience production support and working in projects.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Lastly, this position requires the ability to execute responsibilities with a minimum amount of coaching.

Required* Professional Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 6 years of experience with SAP BW architecture, data modeling, design, and development.
