Maintenance Supervisor, Team Lead
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the daily and long-term maintenance operations of the plant, parts inventory, and maintenance workers while maintaining and upholding all food safety and OHS guidelines.
- Supervise the maintenance employees.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner in order to plan and schedule maintenance employees’ daily and long term workload.
- Complete equipment PM’s in advance to ensure correct work orders and parts are on hand for major shutdowns.
- Ensure department works within the maintenance budget.
- Responsible for the actions, output and health & safety of maintenance department employees and related contractors.
- Develop and maintain capable and effective employees in the maintenance functions, ensuring training and proper competency and certification for existing and new equipment, up-to-date maintenance techniques, regulatory compliance and performance evaluations.
- Participate in committees as the maintenance representative to ensure environmental compliance as well as HACCP and FDA compliance
- Oversee work done by contractors to ensure it meets Irving standards and FDA compliance
