Arrow is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist with managing the recruitment process; in collaboration with hiring managers to attract talent that support the work of Arrow's Maryland based programs. This role develops and delivers talent management solutions to the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work in partnership with hiring management across the organization to understand business goals and cultivate a robust pipeline of diverse talent. Talent Acquisition Job Functions Included:

  • Supporting the design and management of the talent acquisition processes to ensure alignment to programs and business needs.
  • Generates reporting and analytics related to the overall talent acquisition process.
  • Conducts and manages recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt staff from position approval to employee.
  • Manage the job search process with hiring managers and collaborate for alignment.
  • Manages and utilizes the applicant tracking system (Applicant Pro).
  • Develop, write, and lead the standardization for all job descriptions, ensuring that all new hires have a signed and executed document.
  • Support the initiatives to identify, build and facilitate external relationships with education institutions for attracting talent.
  • Assists in the new-employee orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborates with performance leaders to gather feedback from hiring managers and employees regarding the recruiting process.
  • Maintains active knowledge of best trends in talent acquisition and talent development.
  • Participates in HR team meetings and contributes to establishing common HR practices.
  • Recommends new recruiting approaches and best practices to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of and compliance with all relevant HR legislative requirements.
  • Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA standards.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (HR Management or Business-related) or a minimum (4) years of work experience in talent acquisition or business-related experience preferred. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and compliance programs (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO/AAP, etc.). PHR Certification preferred. Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills. Must be self-directed and able to multi-task successfully. Ability to positively interact in a team environment. Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
