Our company is growing, and we are looking to enhance our Talent Acquisition team in our Northwest Houston / Jersey Village corporate office. We are looking for someone with a passion to develop, coach, and mentor staff.


The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for building and driving talent acquisition strategies and practices for our healthcare organization. This includes researching, developing, and implementing effective advertising, sourcing, and recruiting plans for all roles in collaboration with leaders and the Talent Acquisition team.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creatively source and develop a pool of qualified applicants through the use of traditional and non-traditional recruiting techniques including social media channels, cold calling/direct sourcing, networking, job fairs, employment agencies, internet searches, postings, etc.
  • Ensures adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices and ensures compliance, process, and quality consistency.
  • Determines priorities and continually monitors performance according to talent acquisition goals.
  • Trains and provides guidance on industry best practices and organization-specific needs and expectations.
  • Actively involved in the recruitment of key talent.
  • Oversees logistics for recruiting events, including job fairs, open houses, and invitation-only events.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes personal and professional development.
  • Manages the identification of performance goals, analyzes performance metrics, and assesses team member performance.
  • Serves as an escalation point of contact for recruiting issues as necessary.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices in staffing and recruiting of healthcare professionals
  • Familiarity with job specifications and benefits to provide candidates with accurate information
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for interviewing and negotiating with candidates at various levels
  • Previous experience managing the work of a team and delivering desired results


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Five (5) years of talent acquisition experience in healthcare
  • One (1) year in a leadership role
