Axle* is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail oriented Talent Acquisition Lead *to join our vibrant team at Bethesda, MD.
**
*Technical Responsibilities*

  • Demonstrates an advanced level understanding of industry and company (market Intelligence and trends)
  • Responsible for managing end-to-end recruiting functions, defining/managing Talent Acquisition metrics, and meeting performance requirements.
  • Directs management of recruiting resources to ensure timely and quality responses to internal customer needs and overall business staffing objectives.
  • Selects and trains staff, represents department to internal/external stakeholders, and recommends improvements/efficiencies.
  • Builds a high performing, experienced talent operations team focused on meeting Metrics/SLAs and identifying candidates with critical skill sets.
  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies, processes, and goal-driven initiatives related to the identification and attraction of top talent across a broad array of functions and levels.
  • Introduces creative leading-edge recruiting techniques to enhance effectiveness, reduce time to hire, cost per hire, and increase overall customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates an advanced level understanding of Talent Assessment; adept at minimizing interviews per hire and influencing the hiring manager/team
  • Understands real job needs at technical and results level (not a box checker)

*Functional and General Requirements*

  • Prepares robust, insightful sourcing and branding plans to attract all potential candidates
  • Mastered the art of Networking to identify and recruit outstanding passive candidates
  • Work with Program Managers to devise a recruiting plan and create a detailed position description
  • Advanced use of social media and marketing tools to find best active candidates
  • Expert in the use of Boolean and email marketing to find and attract top passive candidates
  • Expert knowledge of how to leverage technology with (Job Boards, LinkedIn, ATS, CRM) to maximize productivity
  • Able to step in and advise other Talent Acquisition Specialists on recruiting issues
  • Developing people management skills

*Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s Degree, six plus years of government contracting recruiting experience, and two to three years of supervisor experience
  • Familiarity with NIH
  • Team player who is driven to exceed goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
