Talent Acquisition/Human Resources Coordinator Job at The Galman Group
This position is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of activities in recruiting, onboarding new employees, Open Enrollment, and keeping the HRIS up to date. This role will also be assigned occasional HR projects. The Talent Acquisition/Human Resources Coordinator works in conjunction with the HR Director and the Payroll Administrator, as well as providing excellent HR support to all employees and managers.

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Work with regional and Property Managers to identify staffing needs and potential sources for potential candidates, respond to employment inquiries, manage the use of the Applicant Tracking System, schedule and facilitate interviews, process new hire paperwork. Liaise with and keep records on agencies used.

Process terminations and conduct Exit Interviews as appropriate. Provide Exit Checklists to supervisors and managers, send reminders, and keep file of checklists updated.

Create and maintain records on staffing, including Open Positions report, reports from the ATS, etc.

Process job requisitions and post open positions in the ATS; process “promotions” of positions and refreshing postings in the ATS

Schedule and promote annual events such as flu shots, summer events, etc.

Revised job descriptions as instructed; keep Job Descriptions folder updated

Assist with the Annual Review process, including communications, reminders, reporting, etc.
9
File Unemployment Compensation notices properly; coordinate attendance at any hearings
10
Act as point of contact for employees with questions regarding benefits, employee referrals, and other issues; guide them to the appropriate people, e.g., benefits broker, as needed

Maintain all employee records as needed in the HRIS as well as the electronic personnel files
12
Manage the temp staffing process, including being the primary contact with temp agencies; facilitate conversion of temps to permanent employment, liaising with agency and hiring managers
13
Ensure that all employee paperwork is scanned into employees' electronic personnel files in the HR drive
14
Support annual OSHA reporting, including communications with managers
15
Support new employee orientations; present HR portion of orientation activities
16
Other duties as required
