Job Description:

• Clone, configure, and manage computers for automated test systems, automation equipment, and support tools used on a production line.
• Control and manage computer configurations, including all application software installed and the required support drivers and libraries.
• Install and manage new software applications on production line computers as needed.
• Maintain license manager for Engineering tools and applications.
• Support client operating systems and hardware.
• Work with local IT group to manage Windows Domain for Production & Engineering systems.
• Work with local IT group to manage and maintain Production & Engineering and user accounts.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.

• Working knowledge with different computer mother boards, applicable chipsets, expansion slots, bios configuration, and computer peripherals.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with the Windows operating system, including configuration and maintenance of the system.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with DNS and Active Directory management, including configuration and management of Organizational Units (OUs), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), etc.
• Networking (hardware, cabling, subnetting, routing, wireless, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present status and issues to a wide range of individuals within the organization, including technical staff, managers, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:

Knowledgeable in the following areas:

• Windows server and client operating systems.
• Server and client hardware.
• PowerShell and visual basic scripting.
• Automated test equipment, including digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, function generators, relay cards, serial and CAN communication cards, PXIe expansion chassis, barcode scanners…
