Job Purpose/Summary:
The Software Change Management Analyst tracks and coordinates change requests and configuration changes to the DoD PKI computer systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provides wide-ranging administrative support to a dynamic security project with ambitious deadlines
  • Collects and evaluates technical documentation for government clients using various change management systems
  • Tracks software change requests and configuration changes from multiple applications and development teams across the development, test and production environments
  • Plans and documents proceedings at high-level meetings with clients and internal management
  • Prepares agendas and meeting minutes for various meetings including the weekly Change Control Board (CCB) meetings
  • Serves as liaison between sub-contractor teams, government teams and program management staff
  • Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact for guidelines and policies
  • Conducts program surveys, audits, projects and provides advisory services on issues related to contracts and program operations
  • Advises and assists management in daily operations by planning, developing and conducting analysis of program operations
  • Assists with preparing, tracking and submitting work products and deliverables
  • All other duties as assigned
Competencies:
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to produce, edit and present technical documentation and procedures in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing ITSM tools like Remedy for incident ticket management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding technical expertise and understanding of software development workflows and software migration concepts
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills and an effective and innovative ability to solve problems, and identify performance and process bottlenecks while recognizing root cause for quality deficiencies
  • Sensitivity to, and appreciation of cultural, political and geographical differences
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting software change management functions
  • Minimum of 2 years working with an ITSM tool like Remedy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in relevant field is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting PKI environments is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a DoD environment is preferred
