Swing Shift Machine Operator Job at Packaging Resources Company
Position Summary:
Operate or tend machines to prepare industrial or consumer custom packaging products
Schedule:
- Swing Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am Monday through Friday, OT schedule: 3:30pm - 2:00 am Monday through Friday, and Saturday 3:30pm - 12:00 am
Tasks
1. Reads and verifies routes instructions.
2. Matches order number of incoming material to order number on worksheet. Measures dimensions of
incoming material with measuring tape.
3. Enters order information into computer machine.
4. Uses hand tools and measurements yield foam material.
5. Cut and skive material and stage for next machine center.
7. Monitors quality of incoming materials.
8. Fills out finished count information on routes.
9. Enters production data into computer at the end of a run.
10. Operate forklift as needed.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to bend, twist, crouch and kneel as required.
· Job requires ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
· Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $24.00 per hour
